THE LOT opened in Southern California - La Jolla in September of 2015, Liberty Station in May of 2016, and Newport Beach in April of 2018. THE LOT San Ramon in Northern CA opened in November of 2018. We are looking for an Event Sales Manager to sell corporate events and to develop our private, corporate business sales. This role is responsible for all sales and operational aspects of events throughout our San Ramon location (THE LOT City Center in Bishop Ranch). Accountable for leading sales initiatives, customer satisfaction, developing a status tracking system while maintaining a list of leads and clients, generating event sales while achieving monthly and annual sales targets, coordinating events and attend events for day-of execution (open availability during the week, evenings, and weekends required), engage in email campaigns among assisting other marketing efforts, engage staff and operations to ensure event leads are directed appropriately, develop and maintain an annual sales action plan with targets, key dates, forecasts, and budgets, leverage sales, train and update staff on points of service, compile post-event payments from clients, and administrative tasks associated with client relations and client retention. Primary sales efforts include agenda setting, menu planning, contract review, facilitating communication before, during and post event to ensure a high level of service, host events, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and lead event meetings, work as a team member with management staff.

Requirements:

Qualifications: -3-5 years of experience in a sales role with emphasis on special events management -Strong knowledge of food and beverage -Knowledge of the Food & Beverage / Events markets -Exceptional verbal and communication skills -Excellent organization and customer service skills -Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment -Hospitality/fine-dining background -Bilingual preferred -Associate's / Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing events management, or equivalent experience preferred
